About Ski Apache
Disabled Skiers' Program
Ski
Apache’s Adaptive Ski program offers learn-to-ski programs for students
of all ages with a variety of disabilities in Alpine, Nordic and
Snowboarding disciplines. Our Program is a not for profit organization
registered as a charitable 501(c)3 organization in the state of New
Mexico. We are a community funded organization relying only on the community for support. We do not ask for or accept public funding. We turn no willing
student down due to severity of impairment or financial limitations! Donations make this possible! It costs our students $75 dollars for 1 day of skiing; that includes:
Skiing should be for everyone, sometimes all it takes is a little adaptive equipment and and organization that has what it takes to give people a chance to TRY! Our program has 10 paid instructors certified by the Professional Ski Instructors Association - Adaptive program. We are asking for as many volunteers as we can get. If you are interested, please VOLUNTEER to work with us. Downloadable Enrollment Forms To make a donation, please call 575.464-3193, talk to Marty or Lori. |
