Lessons
Eligibility

  • Anyone with a permanent physical and/or cognitive impairment is eligible for the program.  SADSP has the most up-to-date equipment enabling anyone to ski.

Lesson and Lift Ticket Info

  • Lessons are one-on-one and tailored to the individual.  All-day lessons or half-day lessons which meet either morning or afternoon are available for skiing and snowboarding. 
  • Reservations are required and may be made by calling the office at (575) 464-3193 or by email: sadspinfo@gmail.com
  • Walk-ins are taken as time and instructors permit.
  • Ski Apache Ski Resort offers discounted lift tickets for people with disabilities.  Skiers or snowboarders 18 years old and over are eligible for a half price full-day lift ticket; under 18 are eligible for a complimentary lift ticket.  Vouchers are issued through the SADSP office.
  • Scholarships and a sliding fee schedule are also available.  Call for more information (575) 464-3193.
  • Group rates are adjusted on an individual basis through the SADSP Office (575) 464-3193.
  • If you are eligible and ski independently, come by the SADSP Office for a half price voucher.
    • If you have a helper, he/she can also ski for half price (courtesy of Ski Apache).

Lessons and Equipment Rates

All-day Lesson is from 10:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 3:00 . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  $75.00

Lessons include:

  • Coache(s)/volunteer(s)
  • Youth/17 years and younger - Complimentary
  • Adult/18 years and older - Half Price
  • Accessories: sun block, ski clothing, sunglasses/goggles, helmets
  • Special equipment: sit ski, ski-walkers, ski-bike; padding, shims, braces, outriggers etc.

The Release Form is a General Liability Release and a release to allow images that may be used by the media and SADSP to promote adaptive skiing and our program.
